Firstly Il introduce myself! My name is Sam and I have lived in Wincham (between Northwich and Knutsford) for over 6 years now.     

Ever since I can remember I have always wanted to work with animals.  I started at the age of 12 where I worked at a Hedgehog Sanctuary voluntary for just short of a year, I then went on to work at my friends parents pet shop, again volunatry for just under a year.  I took work experince placements with Salford RSPCA Hospital, Stockport Wildlife Liason Officers, Knowsley Safari Park, and at a Stables with horses all of which I did enjoy, so I have a little knowlegde of a variety of animals.

I studied Land and Environment at GNVQ level then proceeded to study Animal Welfare and Behaviour at HND level.  After I qualified I got my first paid job working with animals at Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary which I loved.  My next job was working as a kennel maid at a boarding kennels and cattery, they were expanding their business, so after some time, I got the opportunity to be trained as a Dog Trainer.

After taking some time off I went back to working at the local rescue centre Cheshire Dogs Home for 2 and a half years. 

I have always been an ambitious person and running my own business working with animals is something I have always wanted to do.  After working in rescue and rehoming centres I came to realise that many dogs (and other animals) were being handed in due to lack of basic obedience training, destruction in the home, too boistrous, lack of time and or work commitments, all of which can be avioded if the dog had more stimulation and exercise.  I realised that if someone was to give these dogs extra exercise or stimulation during the day, these dogs may not need to be rehomed.  Therefore I felt that I could offer a Dog Walking and Pet Sitting service, to help owners and their pets, enjoy happier lifes together! So her I am.
